I had a visitor here a few days ago who recommended a book to me. Since I have a Kindle 
reader I decided to go to Amazon to check out if it were available and how much. I decided I would buy. By the time I got to my shopping cart on the site, I discovered I have bought the book and it was already delivered to my Kindle of choice.
The warning here? If you are not very careful when using web site you have an account with, you may find you have purchased something you were not certain you wanted.
If you get a message in your email, chances are it is a phishing attempt. Now I don’t have an apple account so I was immediately suspicious. Since I use Thunderbird for my email it also suggested the email was most likely a scam. What the sender is hoping is that there recipient is not aware that the offer of $100 is a fraud attempt. If you are using Firefox, then sit back and relax. You already appreciate the advantages of a well designed browser. Just do me a favor though. Check that you are running version 10 or later. There have been sever major updates in the last few months.

You would think this sort of thing would get front page on nearly every major publication as well as a huge splash on the online world. So far though it is only people like me who fix computer that are discussing the problem. I can only confirm this is affecting Windows XP operating system software.
A Microsoft update for Internet Explorer 8 (or maybe the install of same) is rendering computers unusable. They load Windows to the desktop then a message says “ierturil.dll is missing”. No program will load.
