Firefox Autopager [ * * * * ] I just reviewed a forefox addon that works a treat. The addon in question is autopager. Its purpose is to automatically load the next page on supported. This means in a google search when you get to the botton of the first page, the next is automatically loaded.

Firefox Adblock Plus [ * * * * * ] Get rid of most of the advertising contact in web pages that wastes your time and adds to your download quota. Its definitely a “MustHave” if you are using a wireless broadband modem.

Firefox & Internet Explorer WOT (Web of Trust) [ * * * * * ] Although a few safe sites may get a warning, this addin is a must have for anyone serious about avoiding drive by downloads and unsafe sites. You get a quick heads up about the kind of site you are visiting. If the site is sufficiently dodgy you will get a warning screen.

Firefox Loading progress indicator. Fission. [ * * ] I find this addin although not a must have adds a little easier to see what is happening. You will get a progress bar in the adderss space Safari style to show the progress of you site loading.

Remove USB drive Autoload [ * * * * ] The latest widespread problem is virusses that load from USB drives. Stop them in their tracks by turning off the autoload feature. This can be done via tweak software or by a registry modification. Pplease make sure you have a backup of your registry and a new system restore point set before you make any changes. Make a new text file and copy and paste this information into the file.

Rob Tait has been involved with computers for a long time. The company he worked for was an early adopter of technology and Rob was keen to be involved.
Eventually he was assisting the sysops with the day to day hardware maintainence of the mainframe and terminal system. He still recalls the enginering section fighting tooth and nail to get the first real desktop PC’s. The first commonly used PC’s were DEC and later clone XT’s with a whopping 10MHz turbo CPU. It all grew from there with daily ditherings that continued into a private business started in 1995. Its been a wild ride and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
Rob now lives in Emu Park, a small seaside townnship not far from Yeppoon and Rockhampton. Located on the Queensland Keppel Bay it is a truly beautiful postcard scenerey place. Kind of like living in paradise all year.
Currently Rob nd Pam are attempting to be as green as possible. Solar grid connect and a new diesel powered car are their way to use less fossil fuel. Rob has dabbled with a veggie garden but so far its a pretty hopeless effort. He intends to get ready for another go soon when the cold weather eases off.

Robs hobbies include photography and he has an embarrasingly huge collection of LED torches and lighting. Pam reckons a green energy shop should be next venture. This might happen when Pam packs up her chalk. :)
